FARGO — North Dakota Public Service Commissioner Randy Christmann is scheduled to speak at the Cass County United Republican Committee’s forthcoming “Politics and a Plate” event.

Doors open for the event at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at the Avalon Center, 2525 Ninth Ave. S., Fargo. The program will run from noon to 1 p.m.

Christmann was elected to the North Dakota Senate in 1994 and served in the chamber through 2012, according to his biography on the Public Service Commission’s website. After that, he was elected to the Public Service Commission and reelected in 2018. He is the commission’s current chair.
